GREEN EARTH SOCIETY

It gives me great pleasure to pen few words on the GES website. GES is a non-profit organization that is non-confrontational, committed to doing activities as repair work to improve the environment.  In the 11th Malaysia Plan, the government is committed to green growth environmental development. However, the policy coherence and interrelationship between economic, social, and environment still need further enhancement and a stronger link to the sustainable development agenda across the board is essential in order to ensure that the sustainable development goals are integrated into all development planning initiatives in Malaysia. Most of Malaysia's emphasis is still on boosting GDP. Our economic growth plan is still on the increased usage of oil, gas, and coal as energy sources.

GES with all the limitations on hands and funds continues to remain active with the main objectives of creating public awareness regarding the environment. GES via website would like to thank the tremendous support given by teachers from various schools in Johor Bahru, Johor, and to the numbers of Government Departments who have supported GES awareness and education environment activities all this while.
